The expansion of land area in 1996-1998, and more recently in 2003 has allowed additional selected stud cows to be added from Tasmanian studs Landfall and Connorville along with the purchase of several highly credentialed females from Ythanbrae, St Paul’s and Willowfields.
Reiland Genetics have a strong historical influence of Scotch Cap and Precision genetics via the ‘Carcase King’ CA Future Direction 5321. This offers clients the luxury of accessing productive genetics with generations of strict herd selection.
Reiland’s 700 registered and 300 commercial cows are run under commercial conditions at a high stocking rate with sheep, which certainly identifies elite performers.
No expense has been spared in the development of Reiland’s herd via the careful blending of American and New Zealand bloodlines to ensure on-going productivity and constitution.
